Barry Hashimoto was introduced to Argentine tango in London in 2004, during the height of Europe’s tango revival, subsequently studied tango in Buenos Aires, and enjoys exploring the diversity of the dance. He collects and plays traditional tango music in high resolution, with careful attention to analogue source material, restoration techniques, and discographies. His favorite orchestra, singer, and tango instrument are Carlos Di Sarli, Hector Mauré, and the violin. Barry lives in Seattle.
